When life gives you blueberries...

I cant believe we're already so far into July. Blueberry season is here! 🎉 One of my favorite childhood memories was going berry picking with my mom every summer, and now that we’re back living in New England, our kids get to experience this too!

There’s nothing like the taste of those sweet berries straight from the farm, slightly warmed from the sun.  Last year our kids consumed more berries at the farm than we even brought home, and now with a third little one who would eat an entire carton of blueberries in one sitting if I let him, well.. I’m surprised we didn’t get asked to leave 🤣

I found a pesticide free farm this year (!!!!) So excited about that.
Our kids get fruit as their “dessert” every night, so we will definitely have a washed berry bowl full of these ready to go for the next few weeks.

If you decide to go berry picking this season too and end up with an excess, try this blueberry lemonade recipe! It’s refreshing, simple, and beautiful to serve.

1 cup blueberries
Juice of 3 lemons
4 cups of water
1/3-2/3 cup raw honey (depending on how sweet you want it)

Blend the lemon, blueberries and melted honey with one cup of water, then strain out the blueberry pulp. Add remaining water, pour over glasses with ice, and enjoy! Garnish with fresh blueberries, mint leaves, and a lemon slice. Also delicious with sparkling water instead!

And to celebrate my favorite fruit season, we’re also offering our berry bowls and tumblers at 20% off with code farmfresh

Have fun and enjoy!
